Ok, here we go.

Just got a 58 Splitty from South Africa. Body perfect, Engine OK, but a 1200. 6v electrics and stock suspension and drivetrain.

I want to go down the Porsche road.

I also have a friend of a friend who breaks Porsches.

What do I need, from what model and year of manufacture.

If I were considering a similar project I'd have a word with Rikki James of the Split Screen Van Club. He has a section on their website called 'Busses with attitude' for split vans capable of sub 18 second quarter mile passes. :shock:
